This gothic cathedral was built between the 13th and 17th century, with Gaudi adding some flourishes last century, including the Crown of Thorns — a cardboard and cork canopy above the altar.

VERY beautiful cathedral, great place to spend a couple of hours meandering around the outside, good photo opportunities. I recommend visiting the inside as well, equally as beautiful.

Gothic "vistas" to the ocean and built in 1230. Do plan on spending an afternoon exploring here. .Come back at night to see lights reflecting off of water in Parc del Mar on the Passeig Dalt Murada.

This has a complicated open/closed schedule. Short story: I saw it closed. Still impressive enough to walk up to and then wander round the old back street later behind it.

Huge church with imposing size and architecture. Prime symbol of Mallorca island. You can take a walk on the ramparts and enjoy the view of the sea and the Palma skyline. Bus 15, 25 from playa.
